King Charles III will be crowned on May 6 2023

King Charles III ‘s coronation is set to be held on Saturday May 6, 2023 at Westminster Abbey British Royal Family confirmed through twitter.

British Royal Family posted “The coronation of His Majesty The king will take place on Saturday 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey. The ceremony will see His majesty King Charles III crowned alongside The Queen Consort”.

King Charles III’s crown ceremony will be conducted by Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury.

” The coronation will reflect the Monarch’s role today and look towards future, While being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry” the palace added.

Though Prince Charles became King of United Kingdom immediately as per his rights when Queen Elizabeth died on 8th of September at her favorite holiday home (Balmoral Castle) in Scotland.

King Charles is the 41st Monarch of the House of Windsor and will be the oldest Monarch to be crowned in the history of the Royal Family.

In the coronation ceremony the Archbishop anoint, bless & consecrate the Sovereign.

The coronation will be known as Operation golden Orb as the Palace wish King Charles and Prince Williams to demonstrate that monarchy is still relevant in modern multi-cultural Britain.

The list of guests would be 2000 as per the British media.
